Hand-Painted Violins

Below are selections of my most recent hand-painted violins. Each violin is unique in what it represents. Some of the inspiration for the artwork comes from the shape of the violin itself, such as in the paintings that utilize the fingerboard as part of the art. Other violins were inspired by music, like the Four Seasons collection, which is based on Vivaldi's Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. However, what I wanted to capture the most is the natural elegance of the violin. As a violinist, I took painting the instruments very seriously, which is why I tried finding damaged or poor quality instruments, not only so I would not ruin a potentially good violin, but so I could put to good use a violin that may have been damaged beyond repair. I have painted all my life, but when I finally painted a violin, something in me clicked. The project grew from there and, before I knew it, I was unifying each violin with the inclusion of a hidden treble clef in the artwork.

I hope you enjoy the artwork and have fun finding the treble clef in Treble Clef Creations's hand-painted violins!
